What is the Dakar Rally Off Road Race?

The Dakar Rally Raid is the ultimate proving ground for World Class Rally Racers. Top-tier manufactures and sponsors support the industries best riders and drivers in their quest to be the first to make it to the finish in their respective classes.

This event is held once every year, and is made possible by the Amaury Sport Organisation. Originally, this event would start in Paris, France, and would make its way to Dakar, Senegal. The Dakar Rally has seen a number of changes throughout its history, including a move to South America, and most recently, the move to Saudi, Arabia for the 2020 Edition.

The Dakar Rally is an off-road endurance race that is raced in stages. These stages can be short distances, but can also range up to 500-560 miles. What greater way to test both man and machine, right?
