The day we’ve all been eagerly waiting for is here! Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful and caring mother’s of this beautiful world; past & present. Today is a very special day for all of us, as we come together to celebrate motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
I know for sure that I wouldn’t be where I am today without the unconditional support from my mom, my grandma, and all the mother figures I’ve been blessed with in my life. Although there are times of disagreement and arguments, there is not a doubt in my mind that mother’s only want what is best for their children and for their family.
Always remember to show your mom how much you love her because life is short and in the blink of an eye, she may be gone. To those who’ve had your mother or a mother-figure pass, we understand that today may not be all smiles and laughter. It is a day of mourning, but most importantly it is a day of remembrance and we stand with you.
To the mother’s who have cared for younglings that were not from their own nest, we praise you for taking it upon yourselves to help children in need, for providing a better standard of living and shaping these children into successful adults.
